Meet Alena,
Alena came to know God in worship in 1996 and has been passionate about leading others to the Lord ever since. She has been the happy wife to David since 2006 and is a miracle momma to David Liam, Joseph, and Verity. Alena is obsessed with the local church and has served in many ministry capacities at Gateway Church in Southlake, TX, for over 20 years. She graduated from Dallas Baptist University and Christ for the Nations Institute, where she has returned to teach. She’s an out-of-the-box thinker who loves getting people connected to God’s Word. She focuses on leading creatives to experience the Presence of God in worship and community. She’s passionate about healthy marriages, encouraging young parents, and training the next generation in knowing God. She loves a good party, especially celebrating someone, and thinks life’s too short not to be friends while serving Jesus. A fan of snail mail, she believes in restoring the value of old-fashioned friendship and loves to call them up on the phone with no agenda. Her very favorite place to be is anywhere with David, with her kids.
