Your guide, John Moreland

John grew up in San Antonio, Texas. Upon graduating from Wayland Baptist University, he commenced studies at Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary, earning a Master of Divinity Degree. He is currently a candidate for the Doctor of Ministry in Leadership at Denver Seminary, where he also serves as the Director of the Urban Initiatives Program as well as an adjunct faculty member. He and his wife, Kenna, have been married for nearly 20 years and are the proud parents of Qena, Jordan, Ashley, "Baby Girl" (in Heaven), Kendell and Kevin. He is an Air Force veteran of active duty and the reserves and is in his 27th year of service with the Colorado Air National Guard. Pastor John is burdened to see every man, woman and child walk in a personal and fruitful relationship with Christ and works tirelessly to heal the racial divide within the Christian community of faith. His daily prayer is that God would eradicate all remnants of racial strife among believers.
