Getting Real With God
While serving overseas, John Moreland heard the sound no soldier wants to hear: an alarm and warning about an incoming missile. While facing possible death, he cried out to God. He didn’t utter the perfect prayer, but rather spoke from his heart. That experience taught him something important: God is big enough to handle our distress, our anger, our fear, our pain, and our worry. So many times we let our search for the right words keep us from saying any words. But the key is to get real with God and let him know exactly how you’re feeling. That’s what he wants, and that’s where he meets you.
